Default Unstoppable Dwarven runner - possibility it could work?

Ok so I made a dervish (Balthazars Form) a few days ago, and trained him up to lev20 with the skills needed for the usual D/A droks run:

vow of silence
fleeting stability
mystic regeneration
dark escape
dash
vital boon
deaths charge
harrier's haste

I think those were the skills from memory, I spent some moolah and got em all to try it out and it worked pretty well, except i'm not good at multi-tasking, which is why I fail at farming often LOL, so I was thinking, surely there's a much simpler way to do the droks run, so i've come up with these 5 skills, not sure on which other 3 to add at the moment, but one has to be an enchantment to maintain the +8 health regeneration from the mystic regeneration skill. But anyway I was wondering if this could work for the droks run? And if so I wanna call it the Unstoppable dwarven runner XD or something along those lines.

Here's the skills I got so far:

Dwarven Stability (Rank 10 in deldrimor title track)
Dark Escape (Run 25% faster + take 1/2 damage)
I am Unstoppable (Rank 10 in norn title track, BUT is not necessary if you are drunk while using DS, this skill prevents knockdown and crippled condition, as well as giving you +24 armor which is fairly useful)
Mystic Regeneration (For +8 health regen: as long as you have 2 enchants up)
Vow of Silence (Spells fail against you - obviously)
Faithful Intervention (An enchant for MR as well as a life saver if your HP drops below 50%)

~~~ Possible skills for optional slots ~~~

1. Drunken Master (deldrimor title track) - You move and attack 10...14% faster if you are not drunk. You move and attack 25...31% faster if you are drunk. (Combined with DS this would last 3 minutes! It is also a stance, so it would not be effected by VOS :P) thanks Bong Bro Zac for this suggestion!

2. Dash (move 50% faster for 3 seconds... or 4 seconds with the 20% longer enchant mod)


That's all i've come up with so far but i'm sure this could work.

Ok so dwarven stability basically increases dark escape's duration to 26 seconds, making it NEARLY fully maintainable, there is only 4 seconds where you are slightly vulnerable. I Am Unstoppable would last 20 seconds at rank 10, however, if you are drunk while you use Dwarven Stability, you can't be knocked down - which would make it so that you don't even need IAU).

Faithful Intervention is basically a maintained enchant for Mystic Regeneration (Until your hp drops below 50% of course), this way you don't have to worry about maintaining the enchantments for MR. (Still need 1 more enchant that is upkept so you don't have to keep clicking on it)

VOS - Spells against you fail and you can't cast spells (For those that don't know)


Equipment:

~ All armor pieces with 70 defense
~ All pieces with windwalker insignias (+90 armor for all of your armor pieces instead of +70, providing you have 4 enchants up)
~ Weapon with +20% enchant mod on so Dwarven Stability allows you a 6 second gap to cast it again
~ A shield with +45 health (while in a stance) OR a shield with physical damage reduction on it.

So all up, you maintain the first two skills (DS and DE) so you run 25% faster, take half damage, and can't be knocked down (if you're drunk), then all you have to do is maintain Mystic Regen and VOS and that's it I think - only downside is that DS is an enchantment and can be blocked by VOS if you don't cast it beforehand, but with a 20% longer enchant mod, by the time you cast your 3rd VOS, you should immediately cast DS again, then VOS, to keep it maintainable. (The 20% enchant mod gives you a 6 second gap to cast DS to keep it maintained, and it only takes 1/4 of a second to cast - so it shouldn't completely destroy you when you cast VOS immediately afterwards)

I think this has real potential, it may not be used as much (because of the high rank in the deldrimor title track) but for me, if it is less clicks and hassle to worry about, i'd use it for sure, as i'm not good with maintaining skills and clicking them at the right times etc. so I think with less clicks it could be the next big hit, who knows.

Any help on this build would be great, and any advice would be awesome! Hope this works. In the meantime i'm getting those skills and ranks to try it out!

if your gonna run drunk might as well take drunken master for +33% ims instead of 25%, and it last a long time for your fewer clicks :P i have ran droks with 4 skills before: mystic regen, VOS, fleeting stability, and enchanted haste most runners have different builds just keep tweaking till you find one your really comfortable with

WOW that's an awesome idea - thanks!! And with DS that would last 3 minutes o_O running 33% faster AND it's a stance which is very convenient also =D

Ima make a "possible skills for optional slots" list so that others could take the 5 skills and add whichever 3 other skills they prefer. For myself, I wouldn't want to be drunk while running as it's more stuff to worry about, but at the same time I absolutely hate the "fleeting stability" dervish skill as i'm usually activating other skills and before I know it i'm knocked down after it ends LOL and IAU lasts only 20 seconds and is a 30 second recharge, but then again, I think I could get used to it and just know when to use it for when the worms pop up

Keep up the awesome ideas ^_^ ima add the skill right now.

Before you name your "Unstoppable Dwarven Runner" build, perhaps you should actually test it several times and tweak it, etc. so that it lives up to the name.

Armor bonuses from armor pieces are localized to that piece of armor, and you have a certain percent chance of any hit hitting you on one of the armor pieces. 4 enchants with full windwalkers insignias won't give you a global +100 armor, it will give each of your armor pieces +20, meaning that you'll have a total AL of 70 (base) + 20 = 90 on each of your armor pieces. If you were to replace your head insignia with something else, your chest plate would still have 90 armor if you were to get hit there, but if you get hit in the head you'd only have 70 armor.

I am going to do that once I get Rank 10 in the deldrimor title track as mentioned, i'm new at running and i'm not all that experienced (the account is only nearly a week old) but feel free to try it out yourself if you have the titles and skills for it

Hmm, I heard of that somewhere else too but I still don't get it. I thought when you get hit, the damage is taken into account for the total amount of defense you have? Coz skills don't say stuff like "If you get a headshot you do double damage" or something. Ty for that info, i'll edit it now.

Thank you, yes i've seen those two main run builds but I find there's too much stuff to worry about in them. I'm no pro or anything at all but it's just skills in those runs that are just plain frustrating like Shadow Sanctuary - only goes for 10 seconds and has a 30 second recharge, Pious Haste - lose an enchant =l, Don't trip only lasts 5 seconds and is in my eyes a waste of a skill and it's more stuff you have to worry about.

This build has a few similar skills like DS, MR and IAU (and of course VOS which you definitely need) but the main thing around this build is less skills and more attention to nearly fully maintaining Dark Escape so you are always taking half damage and running. Thank you for reminding me of these builds though, having Dash could help out while MR and VOS are recharging. Ima add a few more possible skills.

You really dont need more heal then SS. Just use Death Charge as a heal. And for the thing that pious haste stop a enchantment, it dont matter just cast VoS at same time to do pious haste--> end at same time.

DT is a prob if you use your shadow steps for speed.

PS: prefer to change SS by Feel No Pain because SS is too much heal for nothing and anyway, I dont use it same if i have it in my build.

Ah I see now why people use them. Thank you ^_^ I guess I rely on healing regen a lot because I can't keep up with the skills I need to use in order to get past the major threats like the worms and avicara's that knock me down, strip my enchants and hex me =l although saying that I haven't actually got a GOOD knockdown-prevent skill yet, apart from the dervish one, and that one requires a lot of attention and right timing or else you miss VOS and bam! Dead.

I'll check out that feel no pain skill, i've heard of it before and I agree with that SS skill.

The surviving with these builds are based on speed. If you take lot of time to select your enemy before to step, you get lot of dmg for nothing. And sometimes, I step so fast that no group try to attack me. they just move back lol.

Also I think you meant +9 regen from Mystic Regen with 2 enchants on ( and Faithful).

And be sure to bring any shadowstepping skill (bodyblock).

Overall it seems like it could work.
